The Fearless Burlesque Bombshell

Betty Machete discovered herself in early 2009 when accepted into the fabulous non profit organization, Girls On Top! Though Betty is a relatively new to burly-q, we expect great things from her. Betty’s willingness to learn and try new things is a constant reminder to set the bar high and never hold back! “You can do it!” In 2009, Betty tested her toes in a nautical inspired group routine performed for The Hero awards and sipped on some creative juices for the solo Chain of fools preformed at Lick nightclub. Betty Machete has been quickly recognized by fellow burlesque performers as having that elusive special something! Keep a look out for Her strut, Betty’s buns, Pussy liquor and Blackbird all coming soon to a stage near you!

When not in the studio Betty is working on costumes and concepts for new dance projects and also enjoys painting pinups and abstract pieces. She can also be found in the woods testing out guns and knives by day and around the fire with drink in hand at night! Betty’s love for music spans through out all genres and is bound to include something that you will like. Excited to be a part of the burlesque community, Betty Machete looks forward to supporting all performers as well as creating awareness about WAVAW, WISH and PACE.
